一對(duì)即將分離的情侶彼此取暖；一位老婦人沉浸在過往愛情歲月；一對(duì)玩伴暢想移民美國(guó)，成為職業(yè)棒球球員。在古巴內(nèi)陸城市圣安東尼奧德洛斯巴尼奧斯，時(shí)間似乎停滯不前，三組人物構(gòu)成的情感世界在這里流動(dòng)、展開。意大利導(dǎo)演托馬索·桑坦博吉奧在這部影片中傾訴自己對(duì)古巴社會(huì)中的愛情和離別的思考。影片中三組人物不僅是導(dǎo)演對(duì)過去（老婦人）、現(xiàn)在（戀人）、將來（玩伴）的真誠(chéng)思考，同時(shí)也是他對(duì)古巴社會(huì)圖景的再現(xiàn)。導(dǎo)演用海浪的聲音凸顯陸地與海洋的關(guān)系，并使用黑白影像來顛覆人們對(duì)五彩斑斕的古巴的認(rèn)知。影片入圍第80屆威尼斯電影節(jié)“威尼斯日”平行單元。
